DGC AT DOWNERS GROVE HIGHSCHOOL
DG Counseling made a splash at “Curriculum Night” at Downers Grove South High School last week, joining several other community businesses for therapeutic outreach.
Assistant principal Vincent Walsh-Rock invited DG Counseling to discuss collaborations in providing student support and healing amidst today’s pressure-filled high school culture.
Among the others to attend alongside DGC were Adler Grove Counseling, Rogers Behavioral Health, and the parent-teen advocacy group “grit2.”
“DGC is grateful to have been involved in the very successful open house!” said Dr. Donna Gluck, founder and president of DGC Counseling. “I thank the DGC’s resourceful staff that were able to attend. This is the first time Downers Grove South has invited local support and resources to attend. What a great idea! Fun was had by all. The connections between parents, students, DGS professional staff, and local organizations was energizing and encouraging. Thank you all for all you do!”
Gluck added: “We look forward to continuing engagements!”
