Judy Fawell wins IMHCA’s Award of Excellence in 2020

Fawall won the award for "exceptional knowledge and skill and the art of counseling."

Judy Fawell of DG Counseling recently won the 2020 Award of Excellence from the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association (IMHCA).

She won the award for “exceptional knowledge and skill and the art of counseling,” after being nominated by Nadia Johnson, Laurie Siegel and Carolyn Khan.

Fawell has been serving clients for DG Counseling for many years, working with a strength-based, collaborative approach, and holds her LCPC and CADC.

Requirements for the IMHCA’s Award of Excellence include:

  • LCPC/LPC and/or CCMHC
  • Exceptional knowledge, skill and art of counseling shown in work with clients and demonstrated by:
  • collegial recommendation
  • supervisor’s recommendation
  • supplemental info may include presentations, workshops, publications and/or consulting recommendation.
