Payment & Insurance Information
1. What are my payment options?
DG Counseling, Inc. has a self-payment system in which the client pays at the end of each session and receives a “Super Bill” that can be submitted to the client’s insurance for reimbursement. This “Super Bill” is a receipt and indicates the date of service, diagnosis, amount billed for the service, amount paid, any outstanding balance, and the client’s next appointment. It is the client’s responsibility to submit this “Super Bill” to his/her insurance company.
DG Counseling, Inc. accepts personal checks, cash, and money orders in payment. We do not accept credit cards. Clients can discuss payment options with their therapist.
2. How do I know if my insurance plan covers mental health visits?
It is the client’s responsibility to contact his/her own insurance company regarding insurance plan coverage. Some clients do not wish to use insurance coverage for mental health services. This decision is up to the client. If you have any questions about payment method, please call us. We can help. 630-353-0697.
Blue Cross/Blue Shield, PHCS, and Aetna may cover visits to DG Counseling, Inc. as an in-network provider. Other insurance companies may cover DG Counseling, Inc. as an out-of-network provider. The coverage will be specific to each client’s own insurance plan.
3. What if I don't have insurance?
You will not be turned away, regardless of insurance standing. There are additional payment options that can be explored.
