Don Milazzo, Graduate-Level Clinical Intern
A critical incident is anything that we are not used to dealing with in our everyday lives. With 20 years of experience in law enforcement, Don has worked with many individuals in crisis. His eclectic training in managing critical incidents has given Don the know-how to successfully deal with those undergoing stressful transition periods in their lives.

Osvaldo Garcia, Graduate-Level Clinical Intern

Osvaldo Garcia is currently an intern at DG Counseling Inc. He graduated from Benedictine University with his Bachelors Degree in Psychology and is now in his last year as a Graduate Student at Benedictine University for his Masters in Clinical Psychology. Osvaldo has over four years of experience working in a clinical setting at Linden Oaks Hospital at Edward where he works with a wide range of clients. Though open to any age clients, he excels with children and young adults. His existential and empathic approach helps clients bring them to a path, which promotes balance, understanding, and acceptance to their potential. Osvaldo specializes with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Individual counseling, child and adolescents, Self-Esteem, Communication, and relationship issues.

Maria Oswald,Graduate-Level Clinical Intern
Maria Oswald is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she majored in both Psychology and Spanish. As a graduate-level clinical intern at DG Counseling, she makes use of unconditional positive regard and empathic listening in order to instill hope within her clients and foster healing and growth.
She provides a listening ear for those who are wrestling with issues, or those who just want to talk. She enjoys connecting with people, uplifting others, and inspiring individuals to embrace the healing powers of forgiveness, love, and humor.
Maria’s areas of expertise: Christian counseling, Spanish-speaking clients, Transitions, and Balanced living.
